Description and Uses
Phosphoric acid, H3PO4 is an inorganic mineral acid that is commonly used as a component of cleaning and detergent products, fertilizers, rust inhibitors and other product applications.
Food grade phosphoric acid is used widely as flavor additive to acidify food and beverage. For example, the sharp flavor from the carbonated soft drinks, such as Cola, comes from the phosphoric acid.
