APAC Chemical, founded in 1999, is a fast-growing multinational chemical company based in Los Angeles, California. We import and distribute food additives used in the dairy, baking, beverage, pet food and general food processing industry. We also distribute a variety of industrial and agricultural chemicals.
Our core products include Potassium Sorbate, Sorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Caustic Soda, Caustic Potash, Sulfates, Phosphates, Chlorides, Benzoates and more.
APAC is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual. The sales executive we hire will be responsible for managing and developing new business sales & profitability. Chemical industry sales experience is highly preferred.
Job Purpose
To improve sales, profitability, and overall business growth for the company
To cultivate long term client relationships in your designated territory
Job Responsibilities
Grow business revenue by identifying, calling, qualifying and closing prospects
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
Travel within the specified region to visit customers and prospects.
Understand customer’s business needs and design appropriate solutions.
Identify new chemical products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepare weekly territory progress reports.
Contribute to the achievement of company goals.
Requirements
Chemical industry sales experience is highly preferred. Food, Industrial, or Agricultural chemical experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High motivation, independence, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential characteristics.
Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and various internet resources to collect prospects.
Salary & Benefits
Salary and commission will commensurate based on experience.
Paid vacation and sick leave per year.
